Why have a wedding rehearsal?

Most wedding venues give a couple a certain number of hours in their wedding package. They may utilize those hours as they wish. That includes having a rehearsal. I would estimate that about 30% of my weddings opt to NOT have a rehearsal at all. They want the party to take center stage, and the ceremony is a means to an end. The rehearsal is not just another item on your "to do" list its an important step to ensuring that the most important part of a wedding day, the wedding ceremony, is amazing and heartfelt. The rehearsal is one of those secret ingredients to help alleviate stress and give you the peace of mind that the ceremony to run smoothly. Don't forget this IS a wedding and this is the cherry on top of the sundae.

How is that achieved by having a rehearsal?

Prosperity Mansion and Farm is a professional wedding venue in Frederick Maryland, and we want to help personalize your wedding ceremony. That begins by discussing YOUR vision for YOUR ceremony. We then offer suggestions to make that come to fruition. Next, we get everyone on the same page with who is walking, the order, when they may begin, where to pose during the walk for stunning pictures and more.

We work with the DJ to synchronize the music with the procession. We discuss how

everyone will know when it's their turn to go and the pace for them to walk. We are hidden behind the scenes to implement all of this for each person in the wedding party. We are like a safety net for each person.

They also need to know the distance between each person walking. When they all are not punched up. his allows the photographer the opportunity to take personalized photos of everyone walking in the procession. The we go through the ceremony itself to see if there are any special feature that are going to be incorporated. Once you say "I do", there are different ways for the parents and wedding party to exit. And where do they go once, they have exited down the aisle? We offer suggestions for that as well and practice to make sure that it all flows as planned.

When none of this is rehearsed, it can be quite chaotic on the wedding day. We feel that it shows your care for those involved. They want the day to go smoothly but cannot if they have no idea what is involved, and they are simply thrown into this.
